Youth Ministry (CYO)

Youth Ministry ~ CYO

St. Michael’s recognizes that our youth are our future! The youth of our parish come together to celebrate their lives in spiritual, social, cultural, and service activities. Our CYO is made up of students grades 7-12. The CYO meetings are announced in the bulletin and are usually held in the CYO room in the gymnasium after 10am mass. Be on the lookout for the next meeting where upcoming activities are discussed!

The CYO comes together to sing with the choir on Youth Sundays (third Sunday of each month), work the local Soup Kitchen, perform the annual Christmas Play, and enjoy each others company through other fun events, outings, and service opportunities. Other activities include helping with children’s games at church picnics, trip to Gatlinburg, trunk or treat event for the younger children, Eucharistic Youth Congress, and CROSS retreat.

Please encourage any youth of appropriate age to attend the CYO functions and meetings! If you have a child who may be interested or if you are an adult interested in serving as a CYO volunteer, please contact the Church Office with any questions.
